This policy explains what cookies CLPeasy uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. We comply with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — making the experience smoother and more personalised.
CLPeasy itself does not set cookies. To keep you signed in and to remember your labels and settings, it uses your browser's local storage, which works in a similar way to cookies and is listed below. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not share cookie data with advertisers.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-qvkosdqcryrcfbjtaxic-auth-token (local storage) | Essential | Keeps you signed in to your CLPeasy account (set by Supabase authentication) | Until you sign out or clear your browser data |
| clpeasy_labels__*, clpeasy_biz, clpeasy_folders, clpeasy_history, clpeasy_prod, clpeasy_last_batch (local storage) | Essential | Saves your labels, folders, business details and product settings in your browser. Your saved labels are kept here, not in your CLPeasy account. | Until you clear your browser data |
| clpeasy-cookie-consent (local storage) | Essential | Remembers your choice on the cookie banner | Until you clear your browser data |
| plausible_ignore (local storage) | Essential | Set only if you turn analytics off, so Plausible does not count your visits | Until you allow analytics again or clear your browser data |
| checkout_plan, checkout_billing, checkout_payg (session storage) | Essential | Remembers the plan or pack you chose while you sign in to complete a purchase | Until the browser tab is closed |
The storage listed above is strictly necessary for CLPeasy to function. Without it, you would not be able to sign in or save your labels. Under PECR, strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent.
When you choose to buy Pay As You Go downloads or an Easy Start Unlimited subscription, you will be redirected to Stripe's secure payment page. Stripe may set its own cookies on that page. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may set cookies as part of their OAuth authentication flow. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.
CLPeasy does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising or analytics tracking cookies. We use Plausible Analytics to count page visits and produce aggregated statistics that help us improve CLPeasy. Plausible does not set cookies. Its script does read one setting from your browser's local storage (plausible_ignore), which is how a visitor can tell it not to count their visits.
Analytics is optional. Choosing Essential only on the cookie banner, or Turn analytics off below, stops Plausible from counting your visits in this browser. You can change your choice at any time.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Continued use of CLPeasy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
