Your fragrance supplier is responsible for classifying their fragrance oil. Your SDS contains that classification data. CLPeasy takes that data and renders the full written hazard statements and precautionary statements on your label — not codes alone — formatted correctly at your specific fragrance load percentage.
A UFI (Unique Formula Identifier) is a 16-character code that links your product label to the formula information submitted to the GB Poison Centre Notification portal. For products classified as hazardous mixtures supplied to consumers or professional users in Great Britain, UFI notification is required.
CLPeasy includes a UFI code field on your label. You generate your UFI via the ECHA UFI generator and submit your product details via the GB PCN portal. Your CLPeasy label includes the correct UFI format (UFI: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX).
Your fragrance supplier is required to provide a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for every fragrance oil they sell. The hazard classification information you need is in Section 2.2 of that SDS — it lists the hazard statements (H-statements), precautionary statements (P-statements), signal word (Warning or Danger), and GHS pictograms.
